Ceramic Fiber Fabric

Ceramic Fiber fabrics are produced with alumina silica fibers and an approximate 20% organic fiber to facilitate the carding process. It is made by the weaving of twisted yarns. The number of threads used determines its width and thickness. Usually in the elaboration of the fabric glass fiber inserts are added, which withstand continuous temperatures of up to 650 ° C or incompatible wire that withstands continuous temperatures up to 1050 ° C. The fabric is presented in different thicknesses and wefts.

Applications

Fire-resistant curtains, insulation of pipes, boilers, gas and steam turbines, controlled cooling, furnace linings, fire protection, welding curtains, protective clothing.
